Key Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities as a safety inspector will be:

Inspecting:

Staying Current on Regulations and Rules:

Liaison with regulatory agencies:

Qualifications

Education:

A bachelor’s degree in occupational health and safety, environmental science, or a related field is desirable.

Experience:

At least 3 years of experience in a safety inspection or comparable position.
Experience in industries such as construction, manufacturing, or logistics is desirable.

Certifications:

Certifications such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Associate Safety Professional (ASP) are a bonus.

Knowledge:

Good knowledge of OSHA regulations and other applicable safety standards.
Knowledge of safety management software and tools is an advantage.

Skills:

Good analytical skills to assess hazards and create effective safety plans.
Good verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate safety information.
Ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams.
Detailed thinking process with a proactive approach to identifying and eliminating hazards.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to perform inspections in a variety of environments, such as outdoors and in close quarters.
