Job Description:
We are looking for a dedicated and career-oriented front office medical assistant to join our staff. The ideal candidate should provide quality patient care while performing administrative and clinical tasks. You should have excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a high-level work environment. Responsibilities:
Keep patients informed and updated in a timely fashion. Enter patient data and updates correctly into the system. Answer the phone and give great customer service. Order laboratory tests and inform patients of results. Make follow-up appointments effectively. Address patient concerns and refer them as necessary. Administer medical care as necessary.
Desired Skills:
Bilingual skill. 1+ years experience in medical assisting. Medical Assisting Diploma, Certification, or Equivalent Experience (Preferred)
High School Diploma (Required)
Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
Athena (Preferred)
Setting up the lab and coordinating patient care. Outstanding customer service and communication skills.
Other Skills and Abilities:
Appointment scheduling and front desk experience. BLS certification preferred
Understanding of insurance procedures.
Work Setting:
This is a full-time on-site job in Golden Road, Florida. Hours are Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., in a cooperative clinic setting. You will work for an organization that focuses on teamwork, appreciation, and career growth.
