Job Title: Performance Accountant
The performance accountant will assist in reviewing and reporting a large number of managed investments for one of Saudi Arabia’s premier insurance companies based in Riyadh. This Chartered Accountant role in Riyadh deals with the actual managed investments directly and interfaces with third-party managers. The incumbent must have a strong accounting, finance, and investment analysis background and aim at presenting clear and descriptive performance metrics.

Key Responsibilities:
Data Collection and Organization:
Collect financial information from different investment portfolios accurately and in full.
Maintain and organize databases to enable proper analysis and reporting.
Performance Analysis:
Compare actual performance with estimates and benchmarks using the most recent financial tools and techniques.
Identify trends, risks, and opportunities in investment portfolios.

Metrics:
Compute key performance indicators (KPIs) like ROI, IRR, and other key metrics.

Reporting and Communication:

Qualifications:
Education and Certification:
Chartered Accountant (CA) certification from a recognized body.
Certification like CFA or CPA as an added value.

Experience:
At least 5 years of experience in accounting, finance, or investment analysis.
Prior experience in asset management or fund management is greatly advantageous.
Prior experience with different investment portfolios is desirable.
