Job Description:
Industrial Maintenance Mechanics service and maintain food process equipment in an award-winning Franklin plant. Therefore, third shift equipment stays in top operational condition with safety and efficiency maintained through sound work practices. Industrial Maintenance Mechanic will ensure each piece of equipment has minimum downtime and maximum capability. Since, Industrial Maintenance Mechanic also works with Preventive Maintenance, Troubleshooting, and Third Shift Supervisor in maintaining operational superiority.
Key Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot and fix food processing machinery in a timely fashion.
Repair and replace equipment such as blades, conveyors, belts, motors, bagging machines, cryovial machines, robotics, boilers, chillers, and compressors.
Perform preventive maintenance to minimize equipment downtime.
Supervise and coordinate third shift maintenance work.
Enforce safety procedures and company policies.
Required Qualifications:
5+ years of industrial or food manufacturing maintenance experience.
3+ years of 480V troubleshooting and repair experience.
3+ years of experience with at least 3 types of equipment, including conveyors, motors, belts, blades, boilers, chillers, compressors, or bagging machines.
Extensive knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and preventive maintenance systems.

Work Schedule and Environment:
Location: Franklin, Wisconsin
Shift Hours: 10:45 am to 7 am, usually 6 days a week with extensive overtime.
Training: Initial training on first shift for about 1 month.
Shift Premium: $2/hour for shifts worked between 6 pm and 6 am.
Temperature: Kept at 55 degrees.
Dress Code: Close-toe shoes, t-shirts, sweatshirts, and pants.
PPE Provided: All PPE and uniforms needed, such as hairnets, beard nets, shoe covers, smocks, bump caps, and gloves, are furnished.
Restrictions: Jewelry, fake/long nails, and fake eyelashes are not allowed.
Compensation and Benefits:
Salary Range: 85,000.00 $ − 95,000.00$ per year.
