Talent and Performance Management Lead

Overview

The Talent and Performance Management Lead will set and guide implementation of major HR lifecycle activities that ensure the best practices are being utilized to enable business goals, promote employee engagement, and help career growth. The position further entails managing HR initiatives, talent pipelines, and maintaining a streamlined performance and talent management process for the organization. Through managing the HR lifecycle activities, the role ensures alignment among talent strategies and organizational objectives. The role ensures seamless execution of HR lifecycle activities, fostering talent growth and organizational success.

Key Responsibilities

Employee Performance Management:

Streamline goal setting, performance review, and the year-end process.
Enable calibration sessions and appeal processes to make everything fair and transparent.

Propel system changes to improve the performance management experience.

Employee listening and engagement:

Drive action planning after employee engagement surveys.
Track progress and validate actions in all divisions.
Create communications that are aligned with survey findings and focus on improvement.

Salary Review Cycle:

Manages the yearly salary review process based on project performance outcomes.
Collaborate with Total Rewards, Business Partners, and Payroll functions in order to support timely delivery.

Bonus Award Cycle:

Oversee the annual bonus pay process, including executive approvals.
Collaborate with relevant teams to make timely and accurate payments.

Talent reviews and succession planning:

Facilitate talent reviews and succession planning for critical roles.
Assist HR leaders in business continuity and talent pipeline development.
Evaluate UAE national readiness for talent and development requirements.

Quarterly People Forums
Develop and share diagrams to convey workforce analysis and trends.
Convey with the business using dashboards and reporting information.

Tracking and reporting:

Track progress against key projects and potential issues.
Escalate issues and remediation activities as necessary.

Feedback and Governance:

Get feedback from Centers of Excellence (COE) for successful projects.
Provide input for policies and ensure alignment of talent and performance management processes.

Process Automation:

Enable initiatives to streamline and automate performance and talent management processes.
Enhance manager and employee experience through use of simple digital tools.

Organizational Design Collaboration:

Work with organizational development (OD) and HR business partners (HRBPs) in talent impact assessment.
Create talent action plans for high-priority organizational design efforts.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in HR, business, or comparable field.
At least 7 years of experience in HR program management, talent development, or business partnerships.
Talent development professional certification is preferable.
Talent and performance management in large multinational companies.
Demonstrated record of achievement in delivering innovative HR programs and driving organizational performance.

Skills and Competencies

Successful project management has the capacity to handle multiple priorities.
Good communication and interpersonal skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
Analytical mindset with the capacity to interpret data and offer actionable insights.
HR systems and tools competencies for talent and performance management.

Leadership abilities to manage teams and deliver efforts to completion.
